Don's compelling rags-to-riches story is an absolute inspiration to everyone who hears him speak and he's receiving rave reviews from audiences throughout Australasia. He demonstrates clever ways to overcome the fear preventing them from breaking through the barrier to success.
After arriving in New Zealand in 1980 Don’s family settled in Auckland. He went to primary school in Otara and attended high school in Papatoetoe.
Don’s family opened the first in a string of south Auckland bakeries in 1984, but Don was determined he didn’t want to work in one. He wanted to succeed on his own, and imported shoes and belts from Asia, then sold shoes for an importer to factory workers. He did eventually open the SAIGON BAKERY in Mt Roskill in 1991.
Don’s move to a real estate career saw him become one of the top sales-people for 10 years in a row. Since then he has sold over 1,000 properties and in 2004 he opened his own franchise in Manukau City.
As well as authoring the best selling "Make A Million Selling Real Estate", his purchase of the top-priced Zabeel colt for $2 million at the New Zealand Bloodstock Yearling Sales at Karaka in 2007, was the networking coup of the year!
Don continued on his path to success making $37 million in sales in the first year with D. H. Group Ltd and well into its second year his current sales are on track to do the same.
Don’s goal is for the company to be the largest real estate company in Auckland as well as the largest property management enterprise in the city and he’s right on track to achieving both goals.
His Office is consistently No.1 of all Ray White Branches throughout the country and has attained sales of up to $40 million in a single month.
Don speaks in a humorous, frank and humble manner inspiring audiences to adopt a can-do attitude in taking their business and personal lives to a greater and more satisfying level of achievement.
