Kerre has presented numerous prime time television shows while at the same time hosting the night time 8.00pm until midnight show on New Zealand’s No.1 Radio station NewstalkZB, a position she holds today.
Also, each Sunday 9.00 am until noon Kerre hosts her national radio show "Kerre’s Café" on NewstalkZB – 55,000 loyal listeners tune in for top-rating interactive radio that’s energetic entertaining and informative. Kerre reviews the Sunday papers with the editors to find out the stories behind the headlines over a morning coffee.
Kerre reviews books for Paper Plus and is the company's books ambassador. She has a weekly newspaper column in the "Sunday News" and is a frequent contributor to other magazines and newspapers.
She embarked on a fitness and training programme to complete the Auckland Marathon and battled hard to achieve her goal. Then followed the New York marathon in 2008. Her book "Short Fat Chick to Marathon Runner" documents her life changing decision to get fit and stay fit – a journey of self discovery and self discipline laced with lots of entertaining stories along the way. In 2009 she also completed the London Marathon as well to add to her medal tally!
Kerre is a regular event MC and after dinner speaker – she has a lovely daughter and is partner to a wonderful Irishman and reluctant walker of a smelly border collie!
She has an Hons degree in History and Political Science and is eyeing up doing her Masters when she's not out training for a marathon to raise money for charity!
