At 22yrs Yulia was already a seasoned and renowned live performer - her live sets include beautiful songs in keeping with the pop folk and classical genre and she is considered one of the top young vocalists of her generation and one of the best to come out of New Zealand.
She was born in Russia, and emigrated to New Zealand. Within 2 years she mastered English and scored a recording contract with SONY MUSIC NZ. She went on to sing fluently in English, Russian, Italian, French, Maori and Spanish on the award winning albums INTO THE WEST and MONTAGE, appearing with some of the top names in international music business.
Her award winning albums (BEST FEMALE VOCALIST and HIGHEST SELLING ALBUM OF THE YEAR at 2005 Vodafone NZ Music Awards) were produced by New Zealand's top pop folk classical producer Carl Doy and remain favourites with commercial radio and live audiences in New Zealand.
Yulia is currently working as a pop folk classical singer, model, author and celebrity and inspirational speaker in New Zealand. She is also writing songs for her third album and an inspirational book. She aims to follow up on the commercial success of her first two albums with the release of her third album and her book in 2009.
