Since their inception in 1989, Nairobi Trio have become New Zealand's favourite jazz band, touring regularly throughout the world, appearing at major festivals in New Zealand, the UK, Europe, Australia and Asia. Now in their 20th year together, Nairobi Trio are more passionate about their music than ever. They have released a total of eight albums together.

The Nairobi Trio can also provide entertainment for weddings, corporate functions and anywhere that music is required. From light, atmospheric jazz to rock and dance music, we cover the whole spectrum.

Nairobi Trio performs as either a Duo, Trio, Concert Quartet or as a dance-band.

DUO:
The intimacy of the Duo suits many occasions (e.g. cocktails, private functions etc.) from background to dance music.

TRIO:
Ideal for cocktail or corporates, weddings and private functions, cafes and restaurants, performing “unplugged” either as a strolling group, or from a fixed point/ stage with their own sound system. They play a wide repertoire from Jazz to Rock Classics and original compositions.

CONCERT QUARTET:
The Nairobi Trio Concert Quartet have released six albums and appear regularly at top Festivals throughout the world (including the Oslo International jazz Festival and the Edinburgh International Festival). The Nairobi Trio Concert Quartet are ideal for concerts and festivals, corporate events, trade shows and product launches.

THE ELECTRIC BAND:
A quality dance-band. Electric violin, Electric guitar, Sax/keyboards, bass, and drums including 4 vocalists. The repertoire features classic hits from the '30's to the '90's - something for everyone. Ideal for balls, corporate functions, weddings and parties, gala dinner/ dance or conference and awards presentations, black tie or casual.
