For over 35 years from Antarctica to the Arctic Circle and every continent between, Peter demonstrates through his extensive business experience and unique global adventures how he achieves the illusive quest for life balance, quality family time and self determination.
Peter and his 18 year old son have just completed a 4300km 5 ½ month walk through USA’s Pacific Crest Trail. Stretching from Mexico to Canada, the trail’s spectacular diverse scenery ranges from hot dry deserts to 4000m snow-capped mountain peaks. As an entertaining down to earth presenter Peter tells his story of their incredible journey overcoming heat, freezing cold, physical and mental exhaustion, bears, snakes and a mountain lion experience, and of the amazing support from “Trail Angels”. A story of focus, courage, endurance, resilience, and personal growth which crosses over to business and life’s challenges today.
As a lucky Christchurch earthquake survivor Peter and his son decided to help others not so fortunate by promoting this expedition, fundraising thousands of dollars for earthquake ravaged Cholmondeley children’s charity near Christchurch.
